Boat engine explodes in Porto Palermo, several people injured! 4 of them suffer extensive burns, urgently depart for Tirana

Four people suffered severe burns to their bodies, while several others were slightly injured, as a result of a boat engine explosion.

The incident occurred in Porto Palermo, Vlora, where it is suspected that the cause of the explosion was gasoline found on the speedboat.

According to preliminary information, four of the injured suffered extensive burns to various parts of their bodies.

They were urgently sent to Tirana to receive more specialized medical assistance.

Police and Ambulance services have arrived at the scene, while work is underway to fully clarify the circumstances of the explosion.
