The number of tourists poisoned after a tourist trip by boat in Vlora has reached 80, including some children.
The tourists, most of them Polish, Albanian, Italian and Turkish, were presented to the emergency room of the Vlora hospital with symptoms of poisoning, such as seizures, dizziness and vomiting.
Five children are being treated in the pediatrics department of the hospital. While the authorities are reported to have launched an investigation into the causes of the poisoning.
Currently, it is suspected that the tourists were poisoned after the food consumed on board the "Black Pearl" tourist ship, which makes the trip from Karaburuni to Sazan.
However, the possibility that the food in a restaurant in Karaburun, or the food they took with them from the hotel, was the cause of the poisoning is not excluded.
