Exploiting two sisters for prostitution, 19-year-old arrested in Berat!

Police have arrested a 19-year-old woman who was exploiting two female citizens (sisters), one of whom was a minor, for prostitution during a police operation codenamed "Multiple".

Also, the two sisters have been criminally prosecuted.

The police inform that during this operation, 3 citizens who were placing bets illegally using mobile phones were identified.

The police operation codenamed "Multiple" is being finalized as a result of a two-month investigation.

He exploited 2 female citizens (sisters), one of them a minor, for prostitution, the 19-year-old was arrested.

Criminal proceedings are being initiated against 2 citizens who practiced prostitution.

During the investigations within the framework of this operation, 3 citizens were identified who were placing bets illegally, using mobile phones.

One of them was arrested because 3 cold weapons, 2 masks, and 7 cell phones were found in his apartment.

The other 2 citizens were prosecuted at large for illegal organization of gambling.

As a result of an investigation using proactive methods, conducted for about 2 months, by the Section for the Investigation of Illegal Trafficking and Narcotics of the Berat Police Department, in cooperation with the Berat Prosecutor's Office, the "Multiple" operation was finalized, in cooperation with the Directorate of the Special Operational Force of the DPPSh.

During the operation, citizen SK, 19 years old, resident of Berat, was arrested, and citizen AA, 19 years old, and her sister, 15 years old, were released. Investigations suspect that citizen SK was using the other 2 citizens for prostitution.

Further, during this operation, citizen KB was arrested, as the investigations suspect that he was placing sports bets using mobile phones. From the searches, 1 iron bar, 1 electroshock, 1 baseball bat, 2 masks and 7 mobile phones were found in his apartment. Also, within the framework of the "Multiple" operation, proceedings were initiated in the absence of the brother of citizen KB, citizen VB, and citizen BE, 19 years old, as the investigations suspect that he was placing sports bets using mobile phones.

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Berat, for further action.
