Holidaymakers on the island of Sazan

For a few days, a great debate has been going on about the number of vacationers in our country.

There was no shortage of images on social media showing some of the empty beaches, as the government's figures did not match the reality.

Undoubtedly one of the biggest obstacles for Albanians to respawn by the sea is also the high price, sometimes even abusive of schioslots, drinks or food.

In these circumstances, there are many holidaymakers who have chosen alternative ways. Such are boat trips to remote beaches, where strategic resorts have not yet reached, taking drinks and snacks with them.

This is a case brought by the journalist from Vlora, Enrik Mehmeti, who says that this Saturday, numerous beachgoers are not missing on the island of Sazan.

But soon enough, it seems likely that the island will become inaccessible to ordinary citizens if the government decides to give it away for luxury resorts to Donald Trump's son-in-law, Jarred Kushner, who builds it with Saudi money.
