An unauthorized three-story reinforced concrete building collapsed this Monday morning near the Vlora-Orikum road. 32 kilograms of explosives were placed in the building.

IKMT announced that 410 furnaces were opened for the demolition, and 1,100 linear meters of detonating fuse were laid.

Meanwhile, for safety reasons, traffic has been temporarily blocked on this axis and the power has been cut off for 15 minutes. 

Measures were also taken to ensure the presence of the necessary number of fire engines, ambulances and respective personnel.

A few days ago, this unauthorized facility was also denounced by Prime Minister Edi Rama, as he said that not only small owners of unauthorized entities or buildings are being punished, but also major violators.
