The jury has announced the verdict in the Sean Diddy Combs trial being held in New York.

He has been found not guilty of fraud and sex trafficking charges against his ex-girlfriend, Cassandra Ventura, and another woman, who testified in court under the name Jane.

Diddy was found guilty of transporting for the purpose of sexual exploitation both Ventura and Jane.

The sentence has not yet been announced, but this charge carries a sentence of up to 10 years in prison.

Once the verdict was confirmed, Combs appeared with his head in his hands, now guilty of prostitution-related charges but innocent of the more serious charges of sex trafficking, extortion, and fraud.

Then, he fell to his knees with his head on the chair, relieved that he will not be convicted of charges that could carry a life sentence in prison.

According to CNN, after hearing the verdict, Combs knelt in front of his seat in the courtroom, bowed his head and appeared to be praying. He then stood up, turned to the audience and began to applaud, relieved that he would not be convicted of charges that could carry a life sentence.

He hugged his lawyers, and turning to his family, he said loudly: "Thank you! I love you, Mom! I love you! I love you! I love you!"

The judge is expected to decide whether he will be released on bail.

The rapper has been in custody since September.

His lawyers have requested that he remain at his home in Florida until the verdict is announced.

His trial began on May 12 and lasted nearly eight weeks. The 55-year-old rapper has pleaded not guilty to any of the charges and continues to vehemently deny any wrongdoing, including those related to previous lawsuits.

Sean "Diddy" Combs, one of the most powerful figures in the American music industry for more than two decades, has faced a series of serious allegations in recent years.

His arrest and federal indictment came after a lengthy investigation by the Homeland Security Agency, which included raids on his homes in Los Angeles and Miami in September of last year.

In the indictment, he was described as the "mastermind" behind a criminal organization that organized "Freak-Off parties," parties where sexual abuse, drug use, and other illegal activities occurred.
