The number of immigrants registered and eligible to vote in the May 11 parliamentary elections has reached 133,049.

According to figures published by the CEC, 33,283 immigrants had their applications rejected, believed to be mainly due to errors in completing the application, for which the CEC has often called for caution in following all steps.

What is striking is that interest is almost as high among female voters as it is among men, 59 to 40 percent respectively.

The three countries that top the list of countries from which it has been applied are Italy, Greece and Germany.

Italy , 80,656 applications or 38.5%

Greece , 58,781 applications or 28.0%

Germany , 23,574 applications or 11.2%
