The Re-establishment Commission has submitted a criminal report for the President of the Court of Tirana, Flamur Kapllani and the Chancellor of this court, Donald Xhelili.
The Re-establishment Commission accuses them of abuse of office, as it claims that the court does not give the decision of Judge Blerina Muçaj, who accepted the appeal of Enkelejd Alibeaj for changes in the statute. According to the Re-establishment, the court deliberately does not give that decision.
"Following the position made public through the statement of Sunday, and in the absence of legal and institutional response from the Tirana Judicial District Court, the Democratic Party of Albania has today filed criminal charges against the president and chancellor of the Tirana court, who deliberately does not yet formally communicate to the Democratic Party judicial decisions that infringe on its legitimate interests. The
Democratic Party calls on law enforcement agencies to investigate and bring to justice anyone who through illegal actions seeks to influence legal proceedings in review by the courts, regardless of the position he holds! " - it is said from the notification of the press office of the Re-establishment.
Earlier, there was a reaction from the Court of Appeals, which said that the Re-establishment Commission with its public statements is aiming to exert influence in making a certain decision on the issue of the DP statute.
