According to Top Channel journalist Juli Ristani, 3 victims and 17 infected have been recorded so far.

Nile fever is spread by mosquitoes that feed on the blood of birds. The virus does not spread from person to person.

The head of the Infectious Diseases department at the PIH, Ms. Silva Bino, issued a press release, where she confirmed the news.
