On the 104th day of the civic protest, activist Arben Kola has leveled accusations against Prime Minister Edi Rama, focusing particularly on the participation of the Albanian diaspora in the protests against the government.
Kola stated that the return of Albanian immigrants and their participation in the protest has concerned the government and groups that he described as oligarchs and the "government mafia."
He also denounced that some Albanians traveling to Albania from various European countries and from England have been hindered by procedures in Montenegro.
"Rama is terrified, as the return of the Albanian diaspora here on the boulevard has disturbed not only Ramovic's sleep at night, but also the groups of oligarchs and the government mafia that, through the Montenegrin authorities, have become an obstacle and have prevented many of our compatriots who have set off from various European countries and England. We call on the Montenegrin embassy in Tirana to immediately clear the way for our fellow citizens. We also call on the embassies of Albania's friendly countries to exert pressure so that Albanians with dual citizenship are allowed to join this peaceful revolution tomorrow," the activist declared.
Kola described the protest as a "peaceful revolution" that has unmasked the government in 104 days.
"For 104 days, he has unmasked the government, but he has whitened Albania's face in the international arena. I call on Rama as a traitor on the run, not to interfere in hindering his sons, but I demand their release. Otherwise, the grave you are preparing for others will be the grave you will fall into," said Kola.
