"Hundreds of thousands of unjustified euros", SPAK submits final conclusions on the case of Fatime Kryemadhi, Pirro Xhixho and Ema Çoku

The Special Prosecution Office (SPAK) has presented its final conclusions in the case related to Fatime Kryemadhi, Pirro Xhixho and Ema Çoko, raising allegations of unjustified financial sources and notarial declarations used to justify assets.

According to SPAK, Fatime Kryemadhi has not justified an amount of around 98 thousand euros, 246 thousand dollars, as well as 100 thousand euros declared as a source for loan repayment. The prosecution also claims that around 310 thousand euros have been identified as unjustified.

According to the prosecution, two loans were taken out to purchase several apartments, but these loans were repaid with cash payments, for which the legal source has not been proven. SPAK has argued that the notarial statements submitted to justify the amounts were drafted after Fatime Kryemadhi was questioned by investigators.

The prosecution has also raised suspicions about the persons who have declared that they have lent cash to Kryemadhi. According to SPAK, verifications do not show that these persons have declared at border crossing points monetary amounts that match the values ??claimed as loans.

In its final conclusions, SPAK also addressed the role of Ema Çoku, who, according to the prosecution, had a close relationship with Monika Kryemadhi. This, according to the prosecution, is proven by frequent communications between them and several banking transactions.

According to SPAK, Ema Çoku has submitted notarial statements claiming to have given Fatime Kryemadhi around 240 thousand euros. Meanwhile, her company is suspected of having made payments for hotel bills for foreign citizens who had come to Albania to support the Socialist Movement for Integration, as well as for some activities of the Youth Movement for Integration.

The prosecution has raised questions about Çoku's financial ability to carry out these actions, arguing that she was in debt to second-tier banks due to loans in significant amounts and that she did not have documented financial ability to carry out such donations.

According to SPAK, the notarial statements made by Ema Çoku were used to justify the financial actions of other persons in these proceedings, while she attempted to argue the legality of the actions of the other defendants.

The case has now entered the final conclusions phase, and the court is expected to issue a decision after the conclusion of the legal process.
