The government imposes new security measures for GJKKO judges and SPAK prosecutors

The Council of Ministers has today approved an important decision to increase security measures for judges and prosecutors of anti-corruption structures.

The government has amended the existing decision that determines personal protection for judges of the Courts against Corruption and Organized Crime, the head of the Special Prosecution Office (SPAK) and the director of the National Bureau of Investigation (BKH).

According to the new decision, these officials will be accompanied by basic and mid-level bodyguards throughout their term of office and for an additional period:

-2 years after the end of the mandate for the judges and the director of the BKH,

-3 years for the head of SPAK.
