The National Food Authority has carried out inspections in subjects that sell meat, chicken and egg products, in refrigerated warehouses, in supermarkets and fast food.

AKU has fined 13 entities with a fine of 6,150,000 ALL, as well as blocked the amount of 21,840 grains of eggs and salami products unsafe for consumption.

In the District of Vlora, the inspection body of the National Food Authority has continued with controls and monitoring in entities that exercise the activity of trading meat, chicken and egg products, in refrigerated warehouses, in supermarkets and fast food.

During the exercise of controls, unsafe food trading was found, in the absence of traceability, labeling, counter-labels in the Albanian language and eggs placed in boxes without a seal and the relevant logo.

For the detected violations, the AKU inspection body imposed administrative measures with a fine in the amount of 6,150,000 ALL, and the amount of 21,840 grains of eggs and salami products unsafe for consumption was blocked.

The National Food Authority is present on the ground throughout the country, to guarantee safe food for the consumer.
