Five people were placed in handcuffs and two others are being investigated at large, because they threatened with messages and went to the house of the head of the Albanian Football Federation, Armand Duka.

The motive has to do with Gentian Selman, the goalkeeper of Tirana, not joining the national team.

His father and at the same time the president of the football club 'Iliria' of Fushë-Kruja, Nazmi Selmani together with the three footballer sons and three other people have threatened Duke.

Gentian Selmani (26 years old), currently the goalkeeper of KF Tirana in the Super League, has been part of the National Team A and played four matches, while he was not included by Sylvinho for the matches against Ukraine and Georgia in the Nations League (September 7 and 10, 2024).

This seems to have been the reason why Gentiani's father, Nazmiu, along with the other six people involved, threatened Duka, who in turn was told that he "does not interfere in the coach's elections".
