'Why did you take away my assistance...', Police: This is why the

Shpresa Cani, who died yesterday in the interior of Lushnje Municipality, was not alone. As she had gone inside to talk to the mayor about the financial assistance that was taken away, a family member was waiting for her outside the institution. 

One day after the death of 60-year-old Shpresa Cani, the Police issued an official announcement. They confirm the woman's death inside the Lushnja Municipality premises. According to them, it is suspected that the 60-year-old woman died of natural causes. 

POLICE NOTICE:

The materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office for evaluation, since on 28.12.2022, in the premises of the municipality of Lushnja, the citizen Sh. C., 60 years old, resident of Fiershegan. It is initially suspected that the 60-year-old woman died of natural causes. The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further action.

The serious incident happened yesterday morning. Cani had gone to the municipal offices to ask why his economic aid was withdrawn. The deceased first went to the information office for social assistance, while they were told that there was also a loud argument between her and the employees. Although an ambulance was called, it was not possible to save the 58-year-old woman after she passed away inside the municipality of Lushnje.
