Albert Halilaj, after securing a deep victory over the democratic candidate for the Kukës municipality, has promised the citizens that he will support them for all the problems they have had these 30 years and may follow.
Halilaj emphasized that he is a son of Kukës and "knows the problems of the people of Kukës."

"I promise you that I will be by their side to support them for all the troubles and problems during these 30 years. I am a son of Kukës, I will represent them through work. The citizens of Kukës showed that they have values, there were no incidents. I thank the people without parties, left and right. Kuksians know how to appreciate the boy from the area, the boy who knows their problems," he declared before the media.
