Fadil alias Julian Balla, wanted by SPAK as part of the Çopja group in Elbasan, turns out to be the owner of several businesses.

Not only the "Ajman Park" complex , seized by SPAK , but Julian Balla is also the owner of the company AMR shpk , which just a few months ago won a tender worth 1.2 billion lek for the management of urban waste in the Shijak municipality.

This tender, as well as the mayor of Shijak, were denounced by the show " Piranjat" after it emerged that urban waste was not being dumped in the Sharra landfill, as the contract stipulated, but was being deposited in an illegal landfill in the village of Hardhishte.

The disclosure of the names of the people involved in the trafficking of 17 tons of cocaine has revealed that many of these characters laundered drug money in luxury resorts or companies that have benefited from public tenders.

Fadil alias Julian Balla, wanted by SPAK for drug trafficking as part of the Çopja group, is not only the owner of the Ajman complex in Shijak, which was seized this Friday by SPAK.

Fadil alias Julian Balla turns out to be the owner of the company AMR shpk.

This company, just a few months ago, was denounced on the show Piranjat, for winning a tender worth around 1.2 billion lek from the Shijak municipality for urban waste management.

During the investigation, the Piranjats revealed that the Municipality of Shijak, in collaboration with the private firm AMR, has created an illegal landfill in the village of Hardhishte, where all the city's waste is dumped and buried.

The Mayor of Shijak, Elton Arbana , during a confrontation with journalist Freard Rista, stated that according to the tender specifications, the waste is deposited in the Sharra landfill, denying the environmental crime being committed in the village of Hardhishte.

In that area, the Shijak Municipality excavator was digging pits for dumping waste, while the private company's vehicles went there and unloaded it.

As for the tender for "Cleaning, collection and disposal of urban waste and maintenance of public spaces and city cemeteries", with a limit fund of over 1.2 billion old lek excluding VAT, it is red flagged for lack of competition, because the AMR firm is the only firm participating in the competition, and the municipality has accepted its offer, 99.7% of the set limit fund. The private firm has foreseen the placement of 341 containers and the emptying of waste every day by tons, but these forecasts do not suit the private company, which has only 4 vehicles available for this process.

Also, human resources consist of 30 employees, a small staff that is not known how it will cope with cleaning the entire area of the Shijak Municipality, including the villages.

Fadil alias Julian Balla, it also turns out, is the nephew of the socialist MP, Ilir Ndrazhi.

Julian Balla is also suspected of having worked and invested in the Socialist Party's campaign in Durrës, supporting MP Ndrazhi.

This case shows once again that after using them to finance the electoral campaign, Prime Minister Edi Rama acts against criminal groups by arresting them and confiscating the properties they have used through illegal activity./ Syri
