A 50-year-old Albanian man has been arrested by the police in Greece, after he was wanted by the Albanian authorities 14 years ago.

He is accused of fraud during 2008-09, but managed to escape at that time and was hiding in Nafplio.

The Albanian was located by the Security Police, who found that he was declared an international wanted man and handcuffed him on Friday evening.

The 50-year-old was sent to the Nafplion Appeal Prosecutor's Office, where his detention was decided until the end of the process of his extradition to Albania.
