Albanian woman from Korça, Ornela Morgan , 43 years old, and sons Gabriel , 12 years old, and Liam , 10 years old, were found shot to death early on December 30 in their home in New City , America.

Watson Morgan , a Bronxville police sergeant , 49, was also later found to have shot himself in the head.

Clarkstown police were sent to the home for a check when Watson Morgan did not show up for work and did not answer his cell phone. Police have said they believe Watson Morgan killed his family and then himself.

Ornela Rora was born in Korça, Albania, she traveled to the US at the age of 17 and lived with an aunt in Massachusetts while attending high school.

She continued to study, receiving a bachelor's degree from Salem State College; a master of science in special needs education from Salem State College and a second master's degree from the New York Institute of Technology.

On Friday, January 12, a memorial service for mother and sons will be held in Worcester, Mass., at St. Mary's Albanian Orthodox Church, 535 Salisbury St. A funeral service at St. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery in Worcester.

The Morgans bought the New City home in 2016 for $577,000. According to the Educators of NYC website on the "X" platform, Ornela was a teacher in a New York City public school.
