-What are diets?

Police:  Payments we receive when we do work outside the district. We pay for food and hotel out of pocket when we go with service. It varies from 20 to 50 thousand lek per day.

Given that the salary of a simple inspector is around 500,000 ALL, the added costs for doing the work make it difficult to live. The work is made even more difficult due to the workload created by the departure of many police officers.
