SPAK has postponed for 6 months the investigations for the file with 33 persons accused by the testimonies of the repentant justices Nuredin Dumani, Henrik Hoxha and Klevis Alla.
The decision to take more time for the investigations was made in November, while the deadline is May 11, 2023.
Within these 6 months, SPAK argues that it will carry out a series of investigative actions against 33 persons involved in a series of crimes, mainly murders in Tirana, Elbasan, Durrës and other cities of the country.
Ora writes that the name of the girl from Kosovo, MH, who is being investigated for the charge of "Supporting the perpetrator of the crime", has already been added to the long list of prosecuted persons. The investigations against her are being carried out in a free state, while it has been confirmed that since the beginning of April, the girl who accompanied Nuredin Duman in Fier, has left Albania.
Merge files
In this investigation, SPAK turns out to have brought together 20 criminal files that talk about various crimes in Albania that were previously without a perpetrator. The last case, which was withdrawn by the prosecution of Durrës, talks about the robbery of a second-level bank in this city on June 9, 2019.
The bank was allegedly robbed by members of Nuredin Duman's group. The latter was released from the prison where he is being held and, under the escort of the police, was sent by the investigators to several key countries, where he is suspected of having committed the crimes and met with exponents of organized crime in Albania.
This action was carried out with Duman to clarify but also to verify the accuracy of his testimony. The testimony of Nuredin Duman became the reason for carrying out an extensive operation that was coded under the name "Golden Bullet" in May 2022.
The penitent's confession and the reopening of the files he spoke about led to the disclosure of a series of assassinations with victims and injuries that occurred in Albania in recent years.
