Ilir Beqiraj alias Brahimi, alias Mançellari  is one of the two suspected perpetrators of Gentian Bejtja's murder on March 15 in the backyard.

Beqiraj is Ylli Brahim 's cousin , who is known as Ervis Martinaj's right-hand man .

The police managed to clarify the movement of the perpetrators after the moment they burned the car of the crime.

Ilir Beqiraj is suspected of being one of the perpetrators who participated in the execution, while Edison Haxhiu is accused of using the 'Golf' type vehicle for the perpetrators to leave Fushë Kruja.

According to the dynamics of the event, the perpetrators approached Bejtja's apartment and executed him with a Kalashnikov volley.

Immediately after the murder, they left with a 'Land Rover' type vehicle towards the Larushkë - Thumanë axis and burned the car in the village of Hasan.

Then they allegedly left in the direction of Bubq village in Krujë with the 'Golf' type vehicle, whose owner, Edison Haxhiu , was arrested by the police.

After examining the security cameras, the police managed to discover the movement of the perpetrators with the black 'Golf', without license plates only on the back, this detail seems to have raised the suspicions of the police and revealed their movements .

After the investigations, it turned out that the "Golf" car with license plate AB960GG was owned by Haxhiu, but the police found that Ilir Beqaraj, suspected of being one of the executioners, also drove the same car.

As we previously announced, on 15.03.2024, citizen Gentjan Bejtja was shot dead inside the enclosure of his apartment. For the investigation of this serious criminal event, the Local Directorate of the Tirana Police has set up a special investigative group, which, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office of the Judicial District of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana, has carried out and continues to carry out all the necessary investigative actions, on initiative or ordered by the Prosecutor.

Nga tërësia e veprimeve hetimore ka rezultuar se autorët janë afruar tek banesa e shtetasit Gentjan Bejtja me automjetin e markës "Land Rover Discover" me ngjyrë të zezë dhe pas kryerjes të vrasjes po me këtë automjet janë larguar në aksin rrugor Larushkë - Thumanë, pas kalimit të mbikalimit të Fushë Krujës, janë kthyer majtas dhe në fshatin Hasan kanë djegur automjetin e mësipërm.

Nga kryerja e veprimeve hetimore është vërtetuar se autorët janë larguar me një automjet tip "Golf" me ngjyrë të zezë, pa targë në pjesën e pasme, duke ndjekur intererarin nga vendi i djegies së automjetit në drejtim të rrugës kryesore Thumanë-Fushë Krujë, kanë devijuar djathtas në mbikalimin e Fushë Krujës dhe janë larguar në drejtim të fshatit Bubq, Krujë.

Nga analiza e informacioneve të marra nga inteligjenca policore si dhe këqyrja dhe marrja e kamerave të sigurisë, është bërë i mundur identifikimi i automjetit tip "Golf" me targë AB960GG, në pronësi të shtetasit E. H., lindur në Milot, Kurbin dhe banues në Tiranë. 

Po kështu ka rezultuar se ky automjet është përdorur edhe nga shtetasi I. B., alias I. B., alias I. M., lindur në Milot, Kurbin dhe banues në Tiranë. Më datë 19.03.2024, strukturat e Drejtorisë Vendore të Policisë Tiranë bënë të mundur gjetjen dhe sekuestrimin e automjetit tip Golf me ngjyrë të zezë me targë AB960GG në pronësi të shtetasit E. H. dhe shoqërimin në ambientet e policisë. Në vazhdim të veprimeve hetimore u bë e mundur gjetja dhe shoqërimi në ambientet e policisë edhe të shtetasit I. B., alias I. B., alias I. M.

Gjatë kontrollit të banesës së shtetasit I. B., u gjetën dhe u sekuestruan në cilësinë e provës materiale, një armë zjarri pistoletë me mbishkrimin VALTER me tetë fishekë, një armë zjarri e markës BENELLI e cila mbahej me lejen e organeve të policisë, një brez me njëzet e nëntë fishekë arme zjarri, pesë pajisje si ato të radiove marrëse-dhënëse me mbishkrimin MIDLAND XT70, një pasaportë e Republikës të Kosovës në emër të shtetasit Kosovar B. A., e dyshuar e falsifikuar pasi fotografia është e ngjashme me fotografinë e shtetasit I. B., një kartë identiteti e Republikës të Kosovës në emër të shtetasit Kosovar B. A., e dyshuar e falsifikuar pasi fotografia është e ngjashme me fotografinë e shtetasit I. B., dy aparate celular të markës IPONE dhe një aparat celular i markës SAMSUNG. 

Të gjitha provat e administruara i janë nënshtruar ekzaminimeve kriminalistike dhe janë siguaruar elemente provash me prespektivë për hetimin e mëtejshëm të ngjarjes. Në përfundim u arrestua në flagrancë shetasi I. B., alias I. B., alias I. M., i datëlindjes 21.04.1983, lindur në Milot, Kurbin dhe banues në Tiranë, për veprat penale “Mbajta pa leje dhe prodhimi i armëve, armëve shpërthyese dhe municionit” dhe “Falsifikimit të dokumenteve”, parashikuara nga nenet 278/2 dhe 186 të Kodit Penal.

Shetatsi EH, born on 30.07.1994, born in Milot, Kurbin and resident in Tirana, was arrested for committing the criminal offense of "Providing the conditions and material means to commit murder", provided by Article 80 of the Criminal Code.

The special investigative group under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office of the Judicial District of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana continues with intensity the work for the full legal documentation of this serious criminal event, the identification and bringing to justice the other perpetrators as well. We will continuously inform the media and the public about the progress of the investigation.
