The 45-year-old from Vlora, Spartak Dyrmishi, was arrested last night by the Albanian police and immediately handed over to the Greek authorities, without waiting for a court decision on his extradition.

The Greek media reports that the father of the two girls has admitted the rape and attempted rape of the two women, but at the time he was under the influence of alcohol.

"Drugs and alcohol have ruined my life. I was under the influence of alcohol when what the two girls complain about happened, which I confirm," he reportedly told the Athens police officers who are handling the case.
