New details from the story that is being treated as a hostage taking that happened on the Tirana - Durrës highway. The two brothers Indrit and Gentian Beqiraj were traveling by motorbike when a car cut their way and they collided. As a result, the engine went off the road.

A physical confrontation started between the two brothers and 4 people in the car, and it is suspected that some other people were involved in this fight. During the fight, unidentified persons put Indrit Beqiraj in the car and left.

It is learned that the police have been chasing him. The moment the people saw that they were being followed, they got Indrit Beqiraj down from the car and left.

Then the denunciation was made. The police are treating the case as illegal deprivation of liberty, so far there are two lines of investigation.

The hostage taking may be a consequence of the conflict born due to the accident, but it may also be the past of the two brothers. 

How did the whole thing happen? 

Indrit and Gentian Beqiraj (brothers) were traveling by motorbike on the Tirana-Durres highway. A car with four people inside blocked their way when they were traveling by motorbike on the Tirana-Durres highway and then a violent fight started. The violence between 6 people ended in the hostage taking of Indri Beqiraj. The perpetrators forcibly took him to the car for 500 meters where he was raped and then thrown from the car.

After two hours, Indrit Beqiraj was released. Then the two brothers went to the Police Station where they reported the serious incident, referring to the case as a momentary conflict. 

However, the police suspect that the conflict between the two brothers and the perpetrators was earlier and is being investigated as "illegal deprivation of liberty".

The two brothers have a previous criminal record, as they were arrested in 2013 by the police for possession of weapons without a permit as well as for the production and sale of narcotics.
