After the resumption of the vetting process in the State Police, the average of the decisions of the evaluation team leans more towards confirmations in office than exemptions or interruptions of the process.

It seems that most of the leaders of the police or the Guard of the Republic meet the three criteria, that of wealth, professionalism and integrity in their duties.

If for Oltian Bistri, the former chief of operations arrested during the "Metamorfoza" operation, the veting interrupted the process together with 5 other members of the police, who have changed functions, only one police leader has been excluded from the ranks of the blue uniforms.

The only one, the former director of Support Services in the State Police, Theodhori Gravani, got stuck in the Police vetting process. Although the reasons have not been given in relation to the case, it is expected that AMP will make public why Gravan was expelled.

Until now, the Police Supervision Agency has made a total of 16 decisions, of which 8 for confirmation in office, 1 decision for removal from the functions, 6 for the termination of the interim evaluation process and only 1 decision for "exemption from duty".

Launched in 2019, the vetting underwent several changes until it was decided that it will be the Police Oversight Agency that will do the passing evaluation. Another innovation for the passing evaluation of police officers is the evaluation time.

According to the draft law that was submitted at that time, the time frame starts from 2008 onwards while the probably most important asset component is reported by the Assets Declaration and Control Inspectorate.

The deadline, according to the Ministry, is based on the provisions of the legislation for the storage and archiving of documentation by public institutions and the statute of limitations for criminal offenses.

Something like this is probably done to save time, but for those managers, who are suspected of having unjustified wealth before 2008, the data will not be taken into account.
