An 18-year-old girl died after consuming phostoxin. The police announce that the young woman died in the hospital yesterday afternoon.

According to preliminary information, it is suspected that the young woman has undertaken the act after conflicts with her husband, the 24-year-old with the initials ED. For the latter, the police have started criminal proceedings.

The serious incident took place in the village of Fiershegan in Fier.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of Fier General Jurisdiction, for further actions.

Police notification :

The Crime Investigation Specialists of the Lushnje Police Station referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, where criminal proceedings were initiated against the citizen ED, 24 years old, resident in the village of Çukas, as it is suspected that due to ongoing conflicts with his wife, citizen BM, 18 years old, resident in Fiershegan village, she consumed poisonous substances (phototoxin) and as a result she died in the hospital yesterday afternoon.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of Fier General Jurisdiction, for further actions.
