An Albanian is shot with a firearm in Greece (NAME)
View from the scene

An Albanian citizen was injured with a firearm in the early hours of Friday morning in Athens. According to the police, 34-year-old Renis Fajzolli was injured. The incident happened on Sidhirokastru street in the Votanikos area, while the young man was in a park, where he was going to meet a person unknown to the authorities.

It is not yet known what exactly happened, but it is known that it was Fejzolli himself who asked for help from a team of doctors who were passing by ambulance in the area. He told the doctors that he was shot with a pistol and that he did not know the perpetrators. Fejzolli was taken to the hospital, where he underwent an operation to remove the bullets.

Doctors say that his condition is serious. The police found 3 cartridges of a 9 mm pistol at the scene, while the Albanian's Smart brand car will be checked to find any traces of the perpetrators. The area in which the incident took place is the 'arena' of the confrontation between the gangs of night clubs in Athens.

It is only a few meters from the Gazi nightclub area, a place where acts of violence and armed clashes between gangs often occur.
