Lul Rakaj, who injured two people this morning in the area of ​​Malësi e Madhe, was arrested after an operation by the RENEA special forces and the Shkodra Police.

Rakaj was captured near Tamara's panoramic balcony, a popular tourist spot in the Great Highlands.

During the arrest, Rakaj tried to break through the first police cordon, but was stopped by the RENEA special forces. Despite attempting resistance, he was captured and arrested without further injury.

The firearm that Rakaj took with him after the incident has not yet been found in his car.

At the time of the arrest, Rakaj was in his vehicle together with his wife. The operation, which also included the use of special forces, caused fear among about 20 foreign tourists who were on the panoramic balcony of Tamara with their motorbikes.

Meanwhile, the two injured persons, Besmir Qofi and Avenir Hasanaj, are still under the intensive care of doctors. Therefore, the police are continuing the investigation to find the weapon used and to clarify all the circumstances of this serious event.
