After staying for 5 hours in SPAK, SP deputy Jurgis Çyrbja has left the Special Prosecutor's Office .

After leaving SPAK, he said that he was not charged.

'I was not taken as a defendant. I have no other comment', said Çyrbja.

It is learned that SP deputy Jurgis Çyrbja has appeared for a report by Edi Paloka, for the time when Çyrbja was the director of Hipoteke.

The Socialist MP was accused in SPAK by the Democratic Party in 2021 for "abuse of duty".

"Çyrbja, the former director of Hipoteka Durrës, is accused of signing within the same day two practices for the same property, but in two different names, thus realizing property overlap", Edi Paloka stated in 2021.

We recall that a few years ago, specifically in 2017, Çyrbja was denounced by the opposition as a person who was "involved" in the case of Emiljano Shullazi.

Jurgis Çyrbja, the current deputy of the Socialist Party, was the director of the Durrës Mortgage during the time when Shullazi took over Hotel Vollga.

Çyrbja testified in 2017 at the hearing against Shullazi and his group accused of embezzlement, talking about his connections with the businessman, Ylvi Beqja .
