"BMW" with Albanian plates crashes into fuel in Croatia and bursts
Accident in Croatia

A car with Albanian plates was involved in a serious accident in Croatia on Monday afternoon, and three people were reported to have been taken to hospital with multiple injuries.

The crash happened at about 5:45 on the A1 motorway near Mosor. Split police say one person has died and three others are seriously injured by burns.

The car with Albanian plates collided with a generator at a gas station, causing it to burst into flames.

The identity of the injured persons, as well as the victim, is not yet known. Three people injured with severe burns to the body are being treated at the Splitit hospital, Voxnews.al reports.

Although it is too early to talk about the causes of the accident, it is suspected that the crash may have come about because of the driver's sleepiness at the wheel.

The fire has caused the burning of the gas station and several other cars that were nearby.
