The fire in Shengjin

A serious situation has been going on for several hours due to the fires in Shengjin, where recently the flames engulfed a four-story apartment.

There are at least five large fires in this area, according to former Interior Minister Taulant Balla, who was present today in Shengjin.

Balla said that according to the forecasts, it is hoped that the strong wind will stop after midnight, otherwise, the work of the firefighters will be worthless.

In the conditions of this wind, we have a spread of flames. It is being worked on non-stop. There are 5 active fireplaces. I am very worried about the outbreaks in Korora above the city, we also have a situation in Rama e Hedhun, or even in Shengjin", said Balla.

The heavy sieve is also present in the crown of pines near the Church, a large wooded area already engulfed by flames that risks turning into a serious disaster.

From the images, a four-story apartment can be seen that was engulfed in flames in the roof area.
