Dramatic situation from the fires in Shengjin

This is the moment when a seaplane from the countries of the European Union arrived in Shengjin to help put out the flames.

The situation has gotten out of control today when the fire has surrounded several hotels and a tourist resort, as it has burned the hill with pines in the area between Rana i Hedhun and the Port of Shengjin.

The Ministry of Defense requested, through the EU's Civil Emergency Mechanism, assistance for two Canadair aircraft to extinguish the flames.

Until these moments, dozens of firefighters from the ground and an Air Force helicopter were engaged in the area.
