A 50-year-old man has been arrested by police after allegedly attempting to shoot a 38-year-old man yesterday, April 7, in the capital.

The incident occurred at a bar on "Myslym Keta" street, where, according to the police, two people were involved in a conflict, while one of them was carrying a firearm.

Debt of 100 euros causes fight.

Meanwhile, the motive for the fight between the two people has also been learned.

The 38-year-old owed Agim Visha ( a person with a criminal record ) an amount of 100 euros, while the latter stated that he saw him by chance in the bar and went to ask for the amount of money.

It is learned that both lived in the same area. The threatened person stated that he knew the debt, but did not want to pay it back.

How did the incident happen?

Initially, they clashed with banal words and then the 38-year-old slapped the AV.

The latter pulls out his gun and threatens him.

Immediately after the notification, the services of Police Commissariat No. 4 intervened to prevent the situation from escalating, placing the perpetrator in handcuffs.

"As a result of the rapid police actions carried out within the framework of the coded operation 'Respond', citizen AV, 50 years old, resident of Tirana, was arrested. This citizen is suspected of having clashed with citizen ID, 38 years old, for weak motives, yesterday afternoon, in the outdoor premises of a bar, on 'Myslym Keta' street, and attempted to kill him, with a revolver firearm, which he was carrying without a permit," the police statement said.

After the incident, the 50-year-old tried to flee, but was caught in time by police forces and put in handcuffs.

During the intervention, police seized the firearm, a revolver pistol, along with ammunition.
