A serious road accident that occurred a few days ago in the Mëzez area, in Tirana, ended with the loss of life of 33-year-old Kristo Liço , who passed away today at the Trauma Hospital.

According to information, he was riding a motorcycle with a 20-year-old woman when they were hit by a BMW vehicle driven by an 18-year-old.

The collision was violent, causing the two young men on the motorcycle to end up several meters away.

The injured were urgently transported to the Trauma Hospital, while the driver of the vehicle was initially escorted to the police station and then released, according to preliminary data.

The incident has raised doubts and public debate regarding the authorities' handling of the case, while Tirana police continue to work to fully document the circumstances of the accident and clarify legal responsibilities.
