A car accident was registered in the early hours of this morning near the tunnel near the new road to Saranda through the Kardhiqi bridge.

As a result of the accident, three American tourists were injured, as the vehicle they were traveling in went off the road. It is learned that tourists have suffered fractures in some limbs, but are out of danger for life.

The cause of the accident is suspected to have been road congestion due to lack of signage. Police are at the scene and are working to clarify the circumstances of the accident.
