The appearance of Korça in recent days has become the subject of concern and discussion in the public, due to the dozens of Greek flags that have been placed on the sidewalk of the city.

Greek cultural week is taking place in this city, in the framework of the initiative for the recognition of other cultures and traditions by Albanian citizens. These activities on the occasion of the Greek Cultural Week take place under the auspices of the Greek Embassy and the Ministry of Culture and in this initiative are included other municipalities of Albania.

But this view of the city of Korça, which is not in any of the other municipalities, has surprised and disturbed its inhabitants and tourists who are in the city.

There is also a boom of critical comments on social media. "This city is not Thessaloniki, it is Korça" is written on the network and photos of the city covered with the flag of the Greek state are posted.
