The Council of Ministers approved at today's meeting several decisions and draft laws related to the environment, reconstruction, public safety and taxes.

Among the approved decisions is the list of activities considered hazardous to the environment.

The government has also defined criteria for assessing potential threats and damage that may be caused to the environment.

Changes have also been made in the decisions related to priority areas for the development of the mountain economy in the Shijak Municipality, as well as the use of the reconstruction fund for the strengthening of housing in Tirana, Durrës, Shijak, Lezhë and Krujë.

The government has also approved the criteria for awarding the Public Order Service Medal.

The meeting also approved several draft laws on Albania's agreements with Lithuania and Germany for the avoidance of double taxation and the prevention of tax evasion.

Another draft law provides for changes to the law on the administration of buildings confiscated as illegal constructions.
