The police have investigated the incident that occurred in Devoll, where it was reported that Alti Nallbati, brother of Democratic Party MP Bledjon Nallbati, as well as citizens Marsel Buci and Trajan Çeliku, had raped a person.

The blue uniforms explain that they have detained the three people in question, who are accused of having forcibly taken 32-year-old Ilir Topçiu from his apartment for weak motives, whom they threatened with life and then exercised physical violence against.

"The services of the Devoll Police Commissariat, following the report made on 30.10.2025, by citizen IT, 32 years old, who stated that on 27.10.2025, the three citizens MB, T. Ç. and AN, in collaboration with each other, had taken him by force and held him for several hours in a private business, where they had threatened him and exercised physical violence against him, organized the work to capture them.

In this context, the Crime Investigation specialists at the Devoll Police Station detained the following citizens: AN, 42 years old, resident of Bilisht, and T. Ç., 38 years old, resident of the village of Braçanj, for the criminal offenses "Illegal Deprivation of Liberty" and "Threat", committed in collaboration; MB, 37 years old, resident of Devoll, for the criminal offenses "Illegal Deprivation of Liberty", "Intentional Minor Injury" and "Threat", committed in collaboration", the police inform.

Investigations suspect that these citizens forcibly took citizen IT, 32 years old, resident of the village of Braçaj, Devoll Municipality, who was under house arrest for the criminal offense of "Violation of traffic rules", from his apartment and took him to a private business, where he was mistreated.

Under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, work continues to fully document the event and clarify its motive.

We recall that during the electoral campaign for the May 11 elections, Alti Nallbati, known as "Duçja" and his brother, MP Bledion Nallbanti, were involved in a physical conflict with a truck driver in the city of Devoll.

From the footage circulating online at the time, MP Bledion Nallbati can be seen punching the driver, while his brother also got involved in the conflict, trying to get him out of the truck.

In statements given to the prosecutor's office, the MP and his brother said that the truck was speeding and could have hit them from behind. For the same issue, 4 days ago, the opposition legislator appeared at SPAK, summoned as a person in the know.
