Minister Albana Koçiu officially assigns the task to Ina Majko!

Ina Majko has been appointed the new Deputy Minister of Health and officially took office today.

Minister Albana Koçiu, through a post on Facebook, where she also shared a selfie with the new deputy minister, welcomed her.

"Every team has chapters that close and new ones that begin, always with new energy ahead," writes Koçiu, also thanking his predecessor Niko Hyka for the contribution he has made over the past few months.

"Welcome Ina Majko, good luck on this new journey as part of our team!", concludes the minister's post.

Ina Majko was a Socialist Party candidate on the open lists in the May 11 elections, in the Vlora district.

She was unable to obtain a mandate as an MP for the new Parliament, but as Prime Minister Rama had previously announced, if she did not obtain a mandate as an MP, she would be part of the government.

Two days ago, she was appointed by Rama to the position of Deputy Minister of Health.

Ina Majko has previously been part of the media, while also defending the rights of the Roma community in Albania, to which she belongs, as an activist.
