A police operation against illegal possession of weapons has been finalized in Kamëz, where a firearm, a pistol and combat ammunition were seized.

According to the official announcement, citizen AP, 51 years old, resident of Kamëz, was arrested in flagrante delicto, suspected of carrying a weapon hidden in his apartment.

The police operation codenamed "Tracking" was carried out by the services of Police Commissariat No. 5, after receiving information that a citizen possessed firearms in his apartment.

During the search of his apartment, on "Besim Cera" street, the Police services found and seized the firearm and combat ammunition, which were suspected of being possessed without permission.

The procedural materials have been referred to the Prosecutor's Office for further action.
