Tragic accident in Athens, who is the 16-year-old Albanian who lost his life?

New details have come to light from the tragic accident that occurred yesterday evening on the outskirts of Athens, Greece.

It is learned that the victim of the accident was 16-year-old Albanian, Eljon Metaj, while his two friends who were in the vehicle were injured. According to information, they are in hospital and their lives are out of danger.

The incident occurred on "Dhimokratias" street, in the Luca area, on the outskirts of Athens, where the vehicle in which the three teenagers were traveling went off the road and crashed into a tree. As a result of the violent collision, the 16-year-old died on the spot, while the other two minors were urgently transported to the hospital.

According to preliminary information, one of the teenagers is suspected of taking the keys to his mother's car and then going for a ride with two friends.

Under still unclear circumstances, it is suspected that the vehicle they were driving was traveling at a speed exceeding the permitted speed limit, and as a result, lost control, veered off the road and crashed into a tree.
