After a coordinated operation with international partners, Albanian authorities have managed to return Eva Dumani, who had been in a camp in Syria for years.
In a previous repatriation mission, she had refused to leave, while at that time her brother had returned to Albania.
Sources report that the Foreign Relations Directorate of the State Police and officials from anti-terrorism structures, in cooperation with Turkish authorities, are involved in this process.
Eva Dumani arrived this morning at Rinas Airport, after transferring from Turkey with the Pegasus airline.
Eva and Endri Dumani were two of the 80 children and women left in the Al Haël camp in Syria, after the fall of the Islamic State.
They were left alone after their grandmother Mendije Dumani, who took care of them, passed away.
