Two people were killed and two others were injured in an attack that rocked Shkodra this Monday morning at a bar near the city hall.

The target of the assassination was 43-year-old Erogen Brajovic , who is a member of the Bajri clan, the brother of Denis Brajovic (Bajri).

The 25-year-old waitress Meri Kaceri was also injured in the attack.

Meanwhile, Armando Pali and Liridon Kraja (Lushi), 31, Erogen Brajovic's bodyguard, were killed. The 29-year-old perpetrator, Ragip Gila, was arrested.

The suspected perpetrator, Ragip Gila, a young man from Shkodra, who was arrested in 2023 after police discovered an arsenal of weapons, ammunition, bulletproof vests, and a quantity of drugs in his apartment, has returned to the spotlight after the serious incident in 2025, where he killed two innocent people and injured two others.

In December 2023, Gila was caught red-handed with:

1- bulletproof vest, mask and wig,

2- hunting weapons and combat ammunition,

3- as well as quantities of narcotics.

For these, he was prosecuted for the following criminal offenses:

Production and sale of narcotics ” (provides for 5 to 15 years in prison),

Unlicensed production and possession of combat weapons and ammunition ” (5 to 15 years in prison),
as well as “Unlicensed production and possession of hunting and sporting weapons”.

However, Gila alone has not served even a full 1.5 years of sentence for a criminal offense that was punishable by 5-15 years.

The justice system in Shkodra appears to be co-responsible for the massacre that Gila caused on the morning of Monday, September 8, shortly after he was released from prison on serious criminal charges.

This raises serious questions about the functioning of justice and the way his case was handled. Was he also used for elections, like many others?

In 2025, Gila is accused of committing a double murder in Shkodra, shocking public opinion. The incident highlights the system's failure to keep dangerous individuals behind bars, even though they face serious charges that carry long prison sentences.

We remind you that:

As part of the police operation "False Image", the apartment of 26-year-old Ragip Gila was raided, where they found and seized 7 bulletproof vests, 2 pairs of gloves, 3 masks, 2 wigs, combat ammunition, 1 metal skull, 1 shotgun and other illegal items, as well as a quantity of suspected cannabis.

By decision of Judge Albert Keraj, the perpetrator of today's massacre has been released on probation.
