The Police Supervision Agency has launched an investigation into the chain of command of the Divjaka Police Commissariat, under suspicion of abuse of power, following the discovery and seizure of 1,426 cannabis sativa narcotic plants cultivated in this area.

Sources indicate that the case has been referred to the Prosecutor's Office, as it is suspected that the police station leaders have not exercised the necessary controls to identify and crack down on plots planted with cannabis.

The narcotics parcel was discovered a few days ago in a place called "Divjaka Reservoir", on a state-owned land area.

During the operation, 1,426 cannabis sativa plants, 37 kilograms of suspected cannabis narcotics in the process of drying, and 7 kilograms of cannabis in the form of bottles were seized.
