The Vlora Court has imposed the security measure "Arrest in prison" on Granit Pepnika, who was arrested a few days ago in Dhërmi. He is accused of the criminal offense of "Computer fraud".

The same security measure, "Arrest in prison", has also been imposed on citizen Xhoni Hitaj, also accused of the criminal offense "Computer fraud", as well as on citizen Redion Rexhmati, who is accused of the criminal offense "Supporting the perpetrator of the crime".

According to sources, Granit Pepnika and Xhoni Hitaj had been wanted since April, after the Tirana Court had previously imposed the security measure "Arrest in prison" on them as part of the investigation into this matter.

The three citizens were arrested on Friday in the Drimadhë area, following the development of a police operation codenamed "Networks", organized by the State Police structures. The operation aimed to crack down on persons suspected of involvement in criminal activities in the field of computer fraud and identify their collaborators.

Meanwhile, investigations continue to fully document the suspected criminal activity, as well as to identify other persons who may be involved in this scheme.
