Bad news for Albanians in Switzerland, the new decision enters into force

Switzerland has recently taken a decision to deport foreigners with criminal records even in cases where their planned criminal offenses have remained tentative.

The decision was made by the Lausanne-based Federal Court, which has the highest level of judiciary in the country.

With this decision, Lausanne has given the right to the Supreme Court of the Canton of Aargau which had decided identically regarding a case of attempted robbery. According to the Federal Court, when it comes to deportation from Switzerland, it does not matter whether the particular criminal offense was committed in full or remained tentative.

The new decision taken by the Federal Court has entered into force.
