The mother of Lear Kurti, Fatmira Mustafa, has spoken about the death of her son.
In an interview for "News24", she said that her son had signs of violence.
"He picked me up at 11 a.m. and I told him, come on, we made love. I will come, he told me that I will change. He told me I don't want a shower because I'm clean. I asked him are you at home? He told me, don't worry, I will spend the whole day with you tomorrow. I slept in pieces," she said.
Excerpt from the interview:
Did you have the conversation the night the incident happened?
Fatmira Mustafa: Yes. Lear's friends told me, let's go and we went to the military hospital. When we went there, the man asked and they said we don't have anyone with that name. Then we took the road and went to the morgue. They took me there because they didn't tell me anything."
We remind you that the 32-year-old Lear Kurti lost his life in police station no. 3 in Tirana, after being escorted by the police.
Young people have also held tributes and protests earlier, while demanding justice for the death of the young man.
Among other things, a protest has been announced this Sunday in front of the Ministry of Interior at 18:00, by the head of PD Sali Berisha.
