KPK participates in the high-level roundtable at the US Embassy: Use of

Members of the Public Procurement Commission of the Republic of Albania participated in a high-level roundtable on the topic: “ Using Artificial Intelligence in Public Procurement to Create a Fair and Transparent Investment Climate .”

The roundtable brought together key public institutions and international partners, addressing the urgent need to modernize public procurement systems in line with technological developments, as an essential condition for institutional efficiency, transparency and credibility.

A special focus was dedicated to the exchange of ideas with Mr. Adrian Rodriguez , a renowned American expert in artificial intelligence applications in public procurement.

The discussions focused on concrete governance issues and measurable results, highlighting the role of artificial intelligence in increasing transparency, reducing discretion, strengthening equal market access, and rebuilding trust between the public sector and economic operators.

For Albania, artificial intelligence is not treated as a slogan, but as a strategic instrument for modernizing public procurement, strengthening integrity mechanisms, and creating a more predictable, competitive, and investor-friendly environment.

The Public Procurement Commission reaffirms its commitment to continuous cooperation with international expertise, to absorbing global best practices and to actively contribute to building a fair, data-based and future-oriented procurement system.
