This year the march of the LGBTI + community will return, after two years of interruption due to the pandemic. The march will be held on May 21, which starts at "Mother Teresa" square at 11:00.

The announcement was given by LGBTI + activist, Xheni Karaja through a post on social networks. The march will be held under the motto "We are the family".

Initially, the LGBTI + community will gather at "Mother Teresa" square to then march towards the Prime Minister, the Albanian Parliament, along the boulevard "Dëshmorët e Kombit", the small bridge in Bllok and will close again at "Mother Teresa" square where a concert is held with some well-known Albanian artists.

WE ARE FAMILY!

Two years after the pandemic, the Pride March (TIRANA PRIDE 2022) returns to public life, to celebrate diversity, love, solidarity and belonging to the community and family.

With the motto "We are family!", All LGBTIQ + organizations together with our allies, are organizing Pride Week, which culminates with the Pride March - the essential activity of this week.
On May 21, starting at 11:00, Mother Teresa Square.

"We are family" - conveys the message of love and family warmth. He strives to raise awareness of the importance of the family and its diversity.

"We are a family" - because our community over the years has shown cooperation and solidarity, offering support to each other. Our family relies on unconditional love, respect and acceptance of each other.

“Ne jemi familje” - sepse familjet LGBTIQ+ janë pjesë e padiskutueshme e familjeve. Familjet tona ekzistojnë! Ato janë pjesë e shoqërisë sonë. Ato ushqehen nga dashuria dhe përkushtimi për njëri-tjetrin, pavarësisht sfidave, diskriminimit dhe sakrificave.

Bashkohemi në solidaritet me çdo familje në luftën kundër dhunës me bazë gjinore, bullizmit, shtypjes, seksizmit, abortit selektiv, presionit psikologjik, dhunës ekonomike dhe çdo forme tjetër të saj.

“Ne jemi familje” - sepse familjet duhet të jenë të sigurta, përkrahëse dhe pranuese për çdo person! Familja duhet të jetë sinonim i pranimit, i dashurisë pa kushte dhe mirëqenies. Ato duhet të jenë një mjedis ku të gjithë mund të arrijnë potencialin e tyre të plotë.

For these reasons and for many others, on Saturday, May 21, we march in the streets of Tirana in color, to protest against oppression and inequality and above all to celebrate love.

Itinerary:
11:00 - We gather at Mother Teresa Square to march towards the Prime Minister - Assembly, along the Boulevard, Youth Park, the small bridge in Bllok and to close the march again at Mother Teresa Square, where a concert will be held with the participation extraordinary of some of the most important names of Albanian art.
