
Even the High Judicial Council has joined the justice institutions that have refused to participate in the anti-corruption commission of the government of Edi Rama, also known as the "Xhafaj" commission.
As argued by the General Prosecutor's Office, SPAK, the Constitutional Court, the HCJ says that the HCJ is open to giving opinions but will not send their representatives to the commission.
So far, the invitation to participate in this commission has only been accepted by the High Council of Prosecution.
KLP has decided in Monday's meeting to appoint two members, Arta Mandro, a member of KLP from civil society and Vate Staka from the ranks of prosecutors, to the "Xhafaj" commission.

The High Prosecution Council has decided in Monday's meeting to appoint two members, Arta Mandro, a member of KLP from civil society and Vate Staka from the ranks of prosecutors.
Based on the recent developments and the interest of the media, regarding the position of the KLP on the Special Commission, I inform you that during the meeting dt. 16.08.2024, the representation of the institution in this committee was discussed.

It was discussed in principle, then on Monday, in an informal meeting and it was agreed to be represented by 2 names; mrs. Arta Mandro non-prosecutor member and Mr. Vate Staka member prosecutor.
I emphasize that it was an INFORMAL MEETING.
From this moment, there has been no further development with the commission.
